Every Thursday in June and September, downtown Columbia erupts into the Twilight Festival. The streets fill with people. The sidewalks fill with musicians, booths and petitioners. Parking is nonexistent. It’s incredible. Yesterday we braved it and brought back some photos.

It ain’t Columbia without something to protest…
Amanda’s absolute favorite place to eat. The vegetarian village rolls come with this sauce we suspect contains trace amounts of crack.
Ice cream sounded good…
But we got ours from Sparky’s… here’s the famed statue of their canine mascot.
And last… someone spray painted literary characters all over downtown. Here’s Alice.

Twilight Festival and Bankok Gardens - enought to make me miss Columbia. Looks like it was fun!
