As promised, more of Karen’s dog pictures! Today we have Hannah and Rusty. In the pictures it’s easy to confuse them, but Rusty is actually about twice the size of little Hannah.

Hannah first; she was quite shy, hugging Karen’s shoe most of the shoot. But she warmed up by the end of the shoot and began running around with the rest of them. Here’s a shy picture:

And here she’s decided we’re not so bad afterall.

Rusty, on the other hand, wasn’t exactly shy. He didn’t, however, feel much like staying still for long. Here are some of his shots; if he isn’t moving, assume the moment didn’t last too long.

Only one of Karen’s pups left to edit — her oldest, Tucker. Check back for those soon! And we’ve got wedding pictures galore waiting in the wings. More soon, I promise!

Unexpected side effect of getting our awesome new Photoshop actions package: we spend three times longer on each picture playing with different effects. So, instead of having a blog post today with all four of Karen’s dogs, we’ve only gotten through the pictures of Buddy, the first alphabetically.

We took these behind the Central Missouri Humane Society, a pretty handy little gated area for taking pictures of several rowdy dogs at once. So far, we’ve been able (with your help) to raise $225 to help Columbia’s pets-to-be. That’s thanks to four Columbia animal lovers. If you want to help, just send us an e-mail!

I’m not sure who Buddy’s friend is in the above picture, but I’m pretty sure (s)he needs a home. Just look at those gorgeous brown markings! Check the Central Missouri Humane Society if you know of a home.

Today we splurged and bought some new Photoshop actions. Sounds nerdy, right? It probably is, but they’re still awesome. We got the Kubota Artistic Tools Volume II. We’ve only just gotten them installed and began playing with them, but here are some of the results:

Before

Last Saturday, Jenn and Jeb had an awesome outdoor wedding at the Martin Luther King Memorial at Battle Garden in Columbia. It was an amazing setting. (I highly recommend it, brides, but bring extension cords!) The weather was great. The couple was great. The family and friends were great.

As we sift through the 2,000 plus shots we took (expect about 500 - 800 that we keep), here are a few of the best so far:

You might recognize a tiny Brendan from the Gallery. He’s growing fast, now officially up to toddler stage with mad walking skills. We took his pictures at the same time as Wes’ pictures (still surrounded by Hssssssing geese). Check him out in the park with Mom and Dad (Jamie and Mike).
