Today was a REALLY long day for me…and as I was sitting in class, feeling as though my brain might explode with all the talk of liquidated damages provisions, freehold estates, and the Model Penal Code, I decided it was time to add a new member to our family.
Here it is:

The Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS USM
And before I get a ton of comments that say something to that say something like, “You were bored in Contracts so you purchased a major piece of camera equipment?!?!?” It was something we have been wanting for quite some time, we just haven’t yet had the funds to upgrade…plus liquidated damages provisions are really boring.
We have a wedding on Saturday, so I’m super excited to test out the new glass!
We are completely booked and no longer accepting 2007 weddings. However, there is still availability for engagements, family, photos, etc. Also, at this time we are not accepting any more weddings for the summer of 2008. Please feel free to contact us with any questions:
amanda@traptlight.com or matt@traptlight.com
Also, look for a new project that we will be launching in the next week or so…more details to follow.
Winter (thankfully) is not heavy with weddings, giving us a bit of a respite. But we’ve got to keep sharp — even though its freezing outside — so here are some shots from a recent trip to the Capitol.

It’s pretty when you’re not scraping it off the car, isn’t it?
The Missouri Department of Conservation has a large nature area next to their main office in Jefferson City, including a nature trail. As you can see, it’s gorgeous.
